Where are the Bees?

Worried. Haven’t seen any bees in our backyard.

My wife wants to mow the getting-“too”-tall grass but I think the clover is just about to bloom. I am loathe to butcher it before that happens.

Actually, this year, I am loathe to mow anything green down at all, and all of the little creatures that live and hide in it, like the baby bunny we saw last week-ish. The dandelions are food for so many of our backyard friends. The idea of eliminating any food or attractants for pollinators (as in the little green hills of clover in our “lawn”) just pains me.
