Glad to see fire restrictions are in place. Some mild suggestions to conserve water. Fear it is not nearly enough.
Hoping for rain, and lots of it. And for people to be genuinely afraid of the consequences of their carelessness to the point where they actually don’t do so many stupid things. Like lighting fireworks in dry grass.
One positive side of the high fire danger is you can go camping in state parks without having to choke on smoke coming from fellow campers. Might kind of balance out the unpleasantness of the campgrounds being super full at this time of year? As much as I love roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, there’s something to be said for clean air.
